Earthwatch Book Club FAQs
The Earthwatch Book Club is a monthly subscription service brought to you by Earthwatch Europe. Every other month, readers will get a box in the post containing a carefully-chosen book along with notes and insight from Earthwatch. On the months that we don’t send books, subscribers are invited to exclusive online author Q & A sessions. All proceeds will go to support the work of Earthwatch Europe.
We carefully select books on a variety of environmental themes – these might be about ecology, climate change, conservation or wildlife.
When you subscribe to the book club, we’ll send out the current book that we’re reading with your welcome pack. Following that, you’ll receive a new book every other month in February, April, June, August, October and December.
We send books every other month and on non-book months you will be invited to join exclusive Q&A sessions with the authors to explore the book topics more deeply.
The checkout text is generated by our website supplier and we aren't able to change that text. Earthwatch Book Club sends out a new book every other month and has exclusive author Q&A sessions on the months that we're not sending books out.
We try and arrange our exclusive Q&A sessions for non-book months. These are hosted online and joining instructions are e-mailed out to all subscribers.
All of our subscriptions, apart from gift subscriptions, are on a rolling basis. So unless you cancel after your last payment your subscription will roll for another term.
We aim to choose new titles you probably haven’t already read or hidden gems you might have missed. Occasionally, you might have already read the book – but we hope you will enjoy the notes accompanying the book and the author Q&A and feel good about supporting Earthwatch Europe.
To cancel your subscription, simply e-mail bookclub@earthwatch.org.uk to let us know that you’d like to cancel.
At the moment, we’re unable to offer an e-book version of the Earthwatch Book Club.
